A perfect destination for a relaxing getaway, in a peaceful location. And also the right spot to breathe some of the cleanest air in the world.
Kopparnäs could be called the abandoned wonderland of the Ice Age. And here, you will find everything you need for your mind to reset. Sandy and rocky beaches, islets as far as the eye can see, rich forests and bio diversity, and historical remains from the Soviet era. Kopparnäs is also an exceptional and unspoiled maritime environment, on the border of Inkoo and Siuntio. This will probably be your unique and exclusive opportunity to be in the heart of the Finnish archipelago, on the Gulf of Finland part. By some definitions, it contains the largest archipelago in the world, by the number of islands!
We will first walk 4 kilometers around Klobbacka's peninsula and enjoy the pine forest. There we will see and talk about some interesting rock, left during the last ice age. We will also talk about some specific mushrooms that we can find there.
Around noon, we will have our lunch at Östervik or Rävberget, for about one hour. This will be the moment for you to taste some Finnish cuisine and delicacies prepared by your guide!
After eating, we will visit the ancient burials, enjoy the scenic view from one of the the highest point in the area, and probably take some nice souvenir pictures. Then we go to Bergudden, to admire the beautiful rock formations. This part is 2 kilometers long.
At the end of the activity, you will be transported back to the city and dropped off at Kalevankatu, in Helsinki.
